Southland transit agencies handed out coveted Golden Pylon Awards to the region’s top traffic reporters. The awards honor the true grit reporters whose on-air traffic talk keeps the region’s traffic moving by promoting rideshare options such as carpool lanes, vanpools and public transportation.

Sabina can currently be seen in Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire on Time Warner Cable’s “Beat the Traffic”. She does weekly on-camera traffic reports during afternoon drive from 3pm to 7pm on channel 101. The show is produced live in Santa Monica. Keeping busy, she is also involved in various freelance on-camera and voiceover projects.

Sabina’s extensive experience as a traffic/news reporter and on-air personality has taken her across the country. She has worked in Dallas, Chicago, Phoenix and her hometown of Los Angeles. A staple at KFI-AM 640 for over 6 years, Sabina gave Angelino’s their traffic fix during Dr. Laura’s program. She was a traffic reporter and sidekick on KGGI-FM for more than 3 years, on Jesse Duran’s show. She was also a recognized reporter on KOST and MYFM.
Life Coaching
Sabina has dedicated most of her life to studying personal growth and healthy living. The more she learned, the more she yearned to share. So, she took that passion to the next level and became a Certified Life Coach in 2009. Traffic reporter on ABC7
Sabina was the afternoon on-camera traffic reporter on KABC-TV for many years. Regularly seen on the 4 o’clock newscast, she received much exposure while becoming known as the face of afternoon traffic. In October of 2008, her esteemed reporting was recognized with the “Golden Pylon Award”. This award is presented to Southern California’s top reporters by the Southland Transit Agencies.
